Solid Waste Management

Overview

Everyone agrees on the threat posed to the environment by waste and pollution at every level, from industrial to household, though there is not always a consensus on the most effective solutions. Nevertheless, it is clear that we must now make the switch from mass consumption to resource recycling.

At NSS, we are firmly focused on the 3 R’s of industrial society: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. That is why we are involved in creating systems for recycling urban waste, including cans, bottles, and plastic containers. We are also looking for ways to realize zero emission. Examples include systems for turning sewage sludge into compost, and waste incinerator ash into bricks.
PFI (Private Finance Initiative) waste projects are seen as a viable way to reduce the financial burden on both national and local governments, and increasingly public services such as commercial enterprises. Here NSS is ideally positioned to offer its advanced consulting services.
We are also able to provide expert advice on reducing energy consumption and achieving self-sufficiency through the use of alternative energy sources as ways to combat the problem of global warming.
